We are Florida’s Oldest Community Supported Agriculture Farm with a history that goes back to 1993. This January the farm was a week away from being sold on the open market and 26 years of organic soil would have been threatened.. and not only is Sweetwater an organic farm, but 4 acres of sustainable design in housing, fruit trees, native trail, pollination station, composting and more. Our mission is education: last year we served over 7,000 local school children. For most it was a first visit to a farm. It could be their last!

The farm was saved with the help of our community and beyond.. Now we are asking to preserve it forever..

We want to put this 501 c3 land into a community land trust and ensure future generations will always have a place to learn, grow, and support local farmers. We want to build an Eco Park Campground  that will allow for 15 portable tiny houses and 15 tent sites. It will consist of fruit trees; native & edible landscaping; composting toilets and rain water catchment all through permaculture design. Our goal is to have the campground open by November 2020. Come stay on your farm!

Costs associated with this vision are the land trust creation and preservation, giving Sweetwater a stronger financial foundation with benefit to the community and entire planet.

Please support our organic community farm and community land trust!
